The Trashcan Man

If you don't know who this character is, he is from a book called "The Stand." He is a character that got constantly harassed because he burned trashcans and basically anything he could find

He used to be Donald Merwin Elbert

But that was then

And this is now

He is The Trashcan Man

 

He got harassed

His father got murdered

But no one cared

He is The Trashcan Man

 

Now he looks

And now he waits

For he works The Dark Man

He is The Trashcan Man

Author's Note

The Stand is one of my favorite books and The Trashcan Man is my favorite character, so I wrote a poem about him. I know I didn't give much back story. But how much can you put into a poem?
