Prologue

It is said that one of the great Gods once wished to hand over his legacy to his own young, but they were all unworthy and unripe. So, this God took it upon himself to seek out a child by other means. Upon returning from his search for this new child, he found that his own young had been slaughtered and that he had been betrayed by the one he held dearest. He knew that he had failed as a father, protecting his young was his only devotion, and yet, his gluttony had cost him their lives.
