Lost and Found;

Lost and Found;

A Poem by Jimi Brady

At times;

How easy it is to forget
The ways in which you brush Fall leaves
From my hair before you forgive
My lips in soft cadences and

You never mind the echoes in
The hollow of my heart, like dark-
ness lingering, quickened neatly
Where our hands, yours and mine, should meet

Softly, fingers closed and calmly
Tracing the letters in our palms
Like psalms from a midnight choir,
Each line a moment left behind;

But we found it, you and I;
