Colors;

Colors;

A Poem by Jimi Brady

She comes in colors,

In shades of all of her -

Shades of Fall and where

She’ll find my hand err

A secret place;

A kiss to mark the space

And your hands in my hair,

Urging me with care

To bid you farewell

Into my lips’ embrace

Where I might taste

The way we feel for one another -

She comes in colors;

Every relationship has its seasons , its colors , its cycles. We have to embrace our share of dreams and reality... A very nice poem...

Beautiful things must be shared. ;) I like the very subtle double entendre. If you don't read it from that perspective, you could totally miss it. I like the varying rhyme scheme, how it matches the flow of what's being described. It's as vivid as the experience you describe... I love it, darling. So much. Simple yet colorful, perfect in every way.
