Plastic Invaders

Plastic Invaders from the planet Earth

So hard to see through but transparently dim

Open your eyes people

They wander the high streets

Smiles like gold and fake complexion

Consumerist and false expressions

Fancy bling and metaphors

Wearing masks and carrying invisible arms

Enslaving us and invading us with their charms

Bullet proof clothing won’t protect you this time

They are the measure of their crimes

They look good on the outside

All fancy smiles and politeness

All abundant faith and narrow mind

A Collective brain all think alike

Like clones all linked by the same pretence

Don’t get too close better keep your distance

They march in single file but attack in battalions

Take shelter in the suberbs of supremacy

Maybe if you play dead they’ll not even notice

Perhaps the ends will be closer than the means

Craft moving at incredible speed

They are proud they are arrogant and consumed by greed

Little evidence that the invasion will be resisted

We feed on gossip and celebrity society

Many have fallen victim already
