CHAPTER 3: THE TIME GODS

CHAPTER 3: THE TIME GODS

A Chapter by Jim

THE END OF TIME

THE PLACE OF THE TIME GODS

“Hello, Kiddo. What brings you back here?”

Quagmire walked up to the thrones that The Time Gods sat in. “I have more, your righteousness. Right here, straight from the mouth of George Washington himself. One molar.” He held up a little molar in his hand. Pardox, the head of the Time Gods, leaned forward and took it. He examined it.

            “This is legit?” he asked.

“Yup.” Quagmire answered, with his raspy voice. “Even had to kill a Time agent to get it.”

            “Thatta boy.” said Pardox.

            “That enough?”

“Not yet. If you want the book of all history, you need to do better that a godforsaken tooth.”

            “Like?”

“I don’t know, a precious jewel maybe? A corpse of a famous or infamous person? Something big, something to blow us away, and the book of all history is yours.”

“Fine, I’m on it.” He turned and started walking towards the end of the hall, when he got an idea. He entered a date into his Time Watch (the same one he had stolen from Time). “They wanna be blown away…” He punched a date into his time watch. “…this’ll do the trick.” The red swirly portal opened, and he stepped in. He turned around to watch Pardox as the portal closed and he was on his way to January 30, 1945.
