Days, no matter how enchanting or indebting or satisfying...or even blue, do elevate themselves and spend so much of their color on the horizon.
Dabbed with the sincerity of an artist's brush, memory will never completely let them go, but will touch them in some way one day, with the kindness of life's colorful clarion call.
you remind me that we must be made by design to forget the intensity of sensation of pain and sadness of days past....otherwise how could we go on....beauty of a piece

I felt the breaths in this, it made me airy and light inside of my chest, where it had been previoulsy tense and knotted. Good blue, how I crave a good summery sky after this!
Sadness/the blues is such a pest, an assailant, a tenant who occupies a space in my calendar every season. It's a part of life as is my undependable and rickety door of unconscious that lets him through when I'm not strong enough to keep it locked. Yet, eventually he grows tired and slips out as though he were punching out for the day. Your poems pull out thought, contemplation, and gratification. This poem is no different. Fine writing indeed.

If i had Do-overs …. i would spend my life making SPACES and PLACES that made me smile … and i would tell you it is first about LIGHT. then about character, ambiance, originality, SURPR.. more..
