now and thenA Poem by JHow is it that winds disturb the rhythm of days at last sorted . .
. colourless? stirring memories quietly humming distant and diffused of ink stains torn, smudged and finally put away
tied with weary ribbon tired and curled about untidy words that stuttered . . . then stopped
Pitched and undone my thoughts as I watch the sweet colours of you drain from the sky forever fading, I think in hues of soft and warm falling blending melding into knowing of my sorry inconsequence . . . like morning frost on an incomplete strand of sequential thought
my head aches in thinly drawn moments of the struggle to remember when I didn’t know the conjunction of such words as yours
when I feel you,
still in windblown longitudes held to rules I curse as truth even now and Then. © 2012 JReviews
