What the spider said

What the spider said

A Poem by Jennifer
"

Reminder to always write, did so always every day as a child, message in that. Times of life to busy and neglected writing always need massive impetus, break up etc to get back to it.

"
A devastating blow like thunder
Thundering unheeded?
Look closer, read closer
Between the line
In all the signs
The superior man will prosper.
Hark that medicine
How many spiders will need to speak
Before you'll hear their whispers.

Not to neglect the creativity
you instinctively indulged in as a child
Upon papers pink, blue, cartooned.
Wise child, child of the earth
Lest not I forget your messages to me.

Forget I did
Occasion to occasion
Consumed by my own novelties
Alarming
Allowed self to come undone
To come away from self
Idiocy.
Unravelling of that which attracts prosperity.

Now, dependent upon thunder
To castastrophise
To awaken dulled senses.
Vow never to neglect the nature
The creative communicative spirit within

Held in, emotions quake
Tense, trembling unto release.
Daily fluidity, emotions in motion
On to the page,
Over which spider tiptoes
Gentle reminder of that which
Is as blank and beautiful
As ever.
