My Place on earth ..

Dark blue sky
O'er bright pink mountain,
Reflects so proudly
In calm clear fountain..
Hear the whisper in the pines,
As gentle breezes tease our minds.
At dusk, so still, without the moon
Hear the eerie wail of a solo loon...
Haunting air and breaking still -
All touch my soul and steel my will.
This vision will last a lifetime with me
As my place on earth, I clearly now see.....
