Day's Quiet EndA Poem by JiggsyPoem
At day's quiet end
There is but only silence , Save the sound of a seagull 's Soft wings o'er dark expanse Of red and yellow rays from the setting sun Making lazy circles, slowly, one by one. As I gaze into dark blue eyes, Tis at this time, I realize - That any hope for the future Will take we two to nurture. The ocean's rythmic lapping Is soothing and still, And in the cool of the night I feel neither chill - nor thrill. © 2017 JiggsyFeatured Review
