Wolves - An Unnamed Poem

Wolves - An Unnamed Poem

A Poem by Isimbabi

With every sunrise we are reborn.
Made stronger from the day before.
Free to roam like wolves after blood.
With our teeth bared, we shall face the world

With the coming of the night,
we retire to solitude.
Reflecting on our errs,
And take time to lick our wounds.

With every full moon,
We mourn the days we lost.
We pray for strength to conquer,
For tomorrow again, we stray.

I like your idea here, Isimbabi......much like wolves, many of us live life like members of a pack; we head out by day, track down our meals, retire to our homes at night and lick our wounds and contemplate the events of our day. As you have written, with each passing day we become wiser and stronger and the older we get the more we look back on our past. Its a good idea, tightly written by yourself here.
