Chapter 1 The Tearful Truth

Belinda will pass each day of her life by following her tightly full schedule. Every time she goes to work, she never forgets to bring her iPod and listen to the songs of her inspiration. Because nothing more relaxing for her than to listen to the music of her inspiration, so relaxing that it takes her mind into a fantasy. “I love you love you so much David! I want to be with you forever “. (She’s saying that while her eyes are shut). While Belinda is dreaming, her co-workers are trying to wake her up “Bel wake up! wake up! “. And as usual she did not still wake up from her dreams so Hazel slap her. “Ouch that hurts!”(Belinda said). And Hazel replied from Belinda’s exclamation and said, “Do I have to do that? Slap your face just for you to be awaken from your wild dreams”. And Belinda replied, “I thought you are a good friend but now you’re not anymore!” And Hazel replied, “So you’re now mad at me? I think that I should not give you this ticket anymore that I bought for the two us for the concert of David Woods”. And Belinda said, “Well then I will buy a ticket for myself”.

Belinda is really desperate to watch the concert of David Woods so she stand and wait in a long line to buy the ticket. She felt the hotness of weather, she sweated so much and she is becoming impatient because of the long line.

And then she suddenly fell down, good thing the person back at her is a strong guy and he did let Belinda fell out of the floor. Then the guy calls for an ambulance, he stays with Belinda until they got in the hospital.

After a few hours, Belinda opens her eyes and she saw the guy. Belinda asks to guy why she is in the hospital and she also asks “Am I ok?”The guy answered her with falling tears in his eyes and said “No you’re not ok”. Belinda asked “What do you mean?” The guy said” You have leukemia and its terminal”. Belinda said, “Are you joking?!” And then the doctor came in to her room.

Belinda asked the doctor, “Is it true?” then the doctor explained to her all about her illness. After the doctor talked to her, she went to the guy and said thank you. She told to the guy that he should not tell it to her friend and after that she said goodbye to him. But suddenly the guy asked her,” Where are you gonna go? I call your friend, she will be here in any minute now”. Belinda said, “What?!” and the guy said “Don’t worry I did not tell her about your illness”.

And after a few minutes, Hazel just came in the hospital and saw Belinda seating with the guy in the hallway. Hazel approached Belinda and asked her, “Are you ok?” and as usual she said she’s fine just to hide her illness to her friend. Hazel asked Belinda, “So are you in for some fun in the concert of David Woods?” then Belinda said, “So you’re now gonna give the ticket?” Hazel said, “Yes that’s what friends are for”. And after that day, it was like nothing happen wrong rather than friends having their moment.

A day before the concert, the guy is still thinking if he’s going to tell about the illness of Belinda to her friend. He is thinking about the health of Belinda, if it is right for her to go in a crowded place or not. He’s holding his cell phone while thinking if his gonna call or not Hazel and tell about the sickness of Belinda.

While the guy is thinking, Hazel and Belinda are now excited shopping for the clothes they will wear in the concert of David Woods. After many days the guy has decided, he will call Hazel to tell about the illness of Belinda.

While Belinda is waiting for Hazel in the fitting room of the boutique, she saw the cell phone of Hazel ringing. She answered the cell phone and heard this voice came out of the phone saying these “Belinda has leukemia!”So what are you trying to say!!! The guy was shocked when he heard the voice of Belinda. Belinda said “So you’re now screwing at me?! The guy answered, “No, I was just trying to help you” then Belinda said “just shut up!” After that she shut the cell phone. “Who are talking to Belinda?” Hazel said. Belinda said, no one just me, I am just practicing for my speech if David talk to me. Hazel said,” Oh really, a violent speech, scolding David?!!”Belinda said “No I’m just expressing myself, yeah party! party! Hazel said “Just forget it” And there they are having fun not knowing that there is still the truth that is hidden and ready to ruin lives.

And the day they’re waiting for has come the concert of their idol. And after that they already went to the concert place. After a few minutes, David has come out of the stage started singing his popular song. The audience we’re so noisy and shouting “We love you David!” while waving their hands hoping that David will touch their hands. Because David is so kind he approached the audience and started to touch their hands.

Belinda is so eager to touch the hand of David so she abruptly went near the stage. But when he reached near the stage she felt the feeling that she felt when she fall down while buying the ticket, sweating and feeling hot and becoming pale. When Hazel saw her feeling like she’s gonna fall down again she suddenly follow her. Even Belinda is feeling pale she shouted the name of David asking for him to touch her hand. And David approached Belinda. And when David is now gonna touch the Belinda, something happen wrong. Belinda fall down, so Hazel hold her and call for an ambulance.

David was so concerned about what happened to Belinda so she told Hazel that she should tell her that they will gonna have a talked in their house. Hazel could not believe it, an idol asking a fan to have a talked in their house.

After a few minutes, they have reached the hospital. And in the hospital after the doctor examined Belinda, Hazel asked the doctor,” What happened to Belinda?” The doctor said “I’m sorry, but your friend has leukemia and it is terminal” Hazel asked” When did it last happened?” The doctor said “When a guy brought her here with the same reason, she fell down” Hazel said to herself that how could Belinda hide a secret from her when she know that they promised together that will not keep a secret from each other.

When Belinda had opened her eyes and woke up she saw Hazel. And when Hazel saw Belinda wake up she started arguing with her. Hazel said, “How could you hide this for many days” Belinda said “I just want us to be happy, I don’t want to be lonely sleeping, suffering from this stupid illness!” After she said that, she suddenly cry and said “So please understand me” Hazel said “You know I don’t want to see you in that kind of career, crying and begging for me” And after that they hug each other.

Hazel asked “So what’s your planned now?” Belinda said “I don’t want to spend the last days of my life sleeping and eating just waiting for life to end, so I decided to fulfill my wild dreams and it is to be with David ‘til I die. Hazel said “I think that your wild dream will start to come true”. Belinda said” what do you mean?” Hazel said” David told me that he wants to talk to you in his house tomorrow” And of course, Belinda’s reaction would be so happy, happiness that she felt until the day end.

Better be early than be late so Belinda and Hazel went to the house of David early. As they enter the house, they saw a maid waiting for them. The maid asked “Do you have any appointment with Mr. David Woods?” and they said yes then the maid let them in and led their way to David. The maid didn’t literally lead their way to David because he is not yet there so the girls asked the maid “Where is David?” the maid said “Just wait here, he’ll be here in any minute” so the girls just wait.

After several minutes, they saw David walking towards them and Belinda was amazingly looking at his eyes that she didn’t even notice that David is looking at her now also. Hazel shouted at her “Bel wake up!” Belinda suddenly got back to herself and she saw David looking at her. David said “Should we go now? To the garden” then Belinda said “Sure!” after that, they went to the garden.

Belinda asked him “Why did you want to talk to me?” David said “I just want to make sure that you’re ok” Belinda said “I’m just a fan “David said “You’re the reason why I’m here now” Belinda silently said “That’s why I love you” even if it is silently said by Belinda, David heard it. He asked to her “What did you said again?” then Belinda said “You’re handsome” David said “I’m not surprise with that complement because that is just a usual complement for me, let’s go back to the serious matter”. “So what really happened to you yesterday?” then Belinda said she is just ok but Hazel stand out and said “she has leukemia and it is terminal”. He was shocked with what he heard. David said that he is sorry for what happened but Hazel said that he shouldn’t be sorry rather than he should make her happy by being with her until she dies. But David said “Now that’s what you really called a serious matter, I should get some coffee”.

While the girls are waiting, suddenly they saw Mrs. Woods. Mrs. Woods approached them and said “Get out of my house freaks!” Belinda said “We’re not freaks, we’re fans” Mrs. Woods said “What kind of fan are you? Trying hard to be the lover of my son, why don’t you accept the truth that you’re just a fan and nothing else” After Mrs. Woods said that, Belinda walked out off the house together with Hazel.

After a few minutes, David comes back to the garden bringing the coffee. He asked his mother of why Belinda and Hazel where not there. Mrs. Woods answered his question in an angry manner,” I just made them leave!” then David said “They are my fans” then her mother said “A fan that is trying to be your lover” but David said “One of them has leukemia” her mother said “ Oh really, then what is her name? Then David said that he forgot to ask the name then her mother said to him that girl is just one of those crazy fans trying to be closer to him in a way of lying to him. Then her mother asked him why he is bringing that coffee instead of the maid doing that. David said “I want her to show that I’m really sorry of what happened to her in my concert” but her mother said “Why don’t you accept the truth that you don’t need to be concerned with the lives of your fans, with their private lives”. Then David said “I just want them to show that I grew up with love and care of my parents, not like what you showed me, you just care about my career and not myself and when father died, you did show that you love him, you just showed that you love his money!!!” after he said that, his mother slap him then he walked out off the garden leaving his mother in misery and crying.
