I’m like a child without a clue

Clueless of what you did to me

Like a thief in the night

That has stolen my heart

And I can’t control my eyes around you

 

It feels like war when I look at you

But it feels like heaven when you look at me

I say to start but you start to go

Now I’m on a run chasing you

 

I say you put your best foot forward

‘Cause here I am now

Running for your love,

Love that keeps my heart beating fast

 

Will you believe in what I said

Come next to me so that you can feel,

Feel that I’m falling for you

But will not fall on the floor

And will keep knocking on your door

‘Til you open your heart to me.

this poem kind of confuses me, the flow is all over the place and i cant find a meanng for this one. it jumps back and forth between love and hate then you fall in love in the end. this seems strange i suppose because its so short. i would really look more into trying to write so its just rolls off the tounge ya know. you have a wonderful base for a poem here but i know you can do much much better.
