Because Of You

You’re the only one who keeps me standing here,

Waiting and keep on holding on,

Holding on for what I know is impossible

‘Cause you’re the thing that I can’t get rid off in my life

A life that is meaningful because of you

 

And every night when the cold wind blows,

I always do the same thing,

The thing that you taught me,

Taught me how to love,

Love that will keep the night warm

 

Whenever I see the clock ticking,

I remember the times we shared together,

Times that you made moments of my life,

Moments that I will never forget,

Unforgettable moments with you

 

I will climb the highest mountains

To see the most beautiful scenery,

A beautiful scenery that will make me believe,

Believe that you will be in my life forever,

Forever like a love that is true, because of you.

You have a running theme of love unrequited, or lost loved one. But even though you keep running it through the ringer again and again, each piece is still different from the other, in one way or the other. Like this one to me was about how after one person is affected by the love of another, he/she remembers everything and is unable to forget about it. Good job.
