I've always said to friends and associates, your page, your opinion. We may disagree - and that's ok. I found it interesting, this one - there are those who perpetuate this concept of us owning god. I've seen people who act this way. Well penned.
I liked the honest and direct thoughts. The question of God. A long conversation and no secure answers. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Wow. I loved this. Very much. Concise, and yet...so rich with meaning.
I've been doing a great deal of research on the Sumerian Texts...an account of aliens creating mankind...research that has me thinking. Despite being Christian, I've found myself wondering lately if humans have any idea who God really is...or what He's like...or what He wants from us. We've colored him with OUR crayons...not His. We perceive him through HUMAN eyes...and our vision is very limited and prejudiced. We've spouted too much hate and spilled too much blood in the name of a 'Loving' God...and I can't help but wonder why. Our world splinters because your God and my God don't get along...but in all reality, they're probably one and the same deity. Our religious leaders claim to know God...know his desires...his laws...but we don't have a clue. Beautiful poem. Thank you for sharing this.

I'm a Hindu myself, so I've grown up with people telling me to trust God blindly and recently I've not been feeling very confident about it.
Thanks again for the kind review :)

When he says to love one another...I think he truly meant that. We must become blind, and love from the heart, not from our heads, eyes, and preconceived ideas. I am Catholic, and people tell me I need to trust blindly, as well, but I'm not buying that. My advice to you, for what it's worth...don't trust anything, or anyone, blindly. Evaluate what you learn, weigh it in your heart, and choose what you know is right. You are very welcome. It was my pleasure to read your work. :)
