Eyes

Eyes have their own language
Expressing their views even when lips do not
They blink and churn the pretty colour of the irises
Betraying our emotions against our will as it turns out,

They close and trigger us with the memories
They relay their views with what they have seen
Send us messages with what's thats true
And contradict it with what we want to be true,

They can look into someone's soul right through
Or provide others a window into ours
They're truthful even though you're not
Pushing away the heap of lies you've built up

Then when they close
Finally to rest their work galore
The truths they held and the lies they cleared
All disolve up as they leave the holder.
