The Last DanceA Story by xDallianceOne of my best poems
Holding her like she was his own
One last time to dance, he had sworn Never once did his eyes slid off her While dancing and holding the still and white form of hers Her dress blowed around her Swirling in a pattern that made him shiver Her skin was ice cold where it me Her eyes were closed as if relishing that moment He continued to move in baseless circles Continued to hold her even if she showed no motion Silently he watched her peaceful face Tears dropping down his anguished face Finally he did what he came for Laid her beside him on the soft green grass, all the while holding her Looked at her unbreathing for the longest time and removed the gun Kissed her cold lips and let his eyes go red and blank at once..
