Delusion

Sleep invaded with demons and ghosts

Nothing but assurances helps at the most

Reigning sleep with your thoughts

You in my arms and everything lost

I smile at the memories

Where we blushed every time we talked

I snuggle in my blanket thinking about you

Smile again as if laying next to you

Sleep finally claims me and I dream

They resemble something strange and mean

I startle awake with a strangled laugh

The face in my dreams was not the one I slept thinking of..

Beautiful. I spent the entire yesterday trying to dream of someone I won't be seeing for a while, as dreams tend to be I spent my time dreaming of other people and things. I like your layout and your rhythm in this poem and the last line, and stanza, is top notch!

Dreams never stay the same they are everchanging whether you are awake or asleep lol
