The Fear

The Fear

A Poem by ElizaB

Spine of ice;
A rapid heart
At seamless words,
Rooms apart.
And yet you still
Steal my grin;
Extinguish light;
Starve me thin.
My love; a cost.
My love; begin.
Bones of frost
Upon my skin.

Wow, this is amazing! Great rhymes without being trite. Good stuff.
