The Keeper

The Keeper

A Poem by ElizaB

You,

The keeper of bones,

Against the dew,

I stand alone,

Lost in blue "

This mouth is sewn.

Its words overdue.

This heart, it quivers

At the sight of you -

A mind that’s shivers

With thoughts untrue,

Against the daylight,

A lover’s art,

Adrift in white.

Keeper of my heart,

A song into the night,

Where do I start?

Where do I begin?

We beat apart "

Caress my skin.
