You smile to hide your pain.

You try to make people think you're strong.

But emotionally you're weak and you cry

when no one is around.

You've been put down all your life

so all you know is negativity,

so when i say i love you,

you think it's just another joke to hurt you again and again.

you go through all the trouble to hide your pain but friends like me see everything.

so don't try to hide it anymore

all it does is cause more pain.

Because you're acting like someone you're not.
