Reflections of the truth

Reflections of the truth

A Poem by Jezreel

Mirror, mirror on the wall the darkness seems to tell it all world of hate and world of pain world that seems to speak my name mirror, mirror speak to me why does everything seem unreal to me cry not for me but for them all for we are hunted by the call the call of fate which binds us all never do we truely know what comes inside with every woe cry once more for those in sorrow pain of loss and pain that hollows mirror, mirror on the wall the lie thats there now tells it all

I agree with an earlier review on the structure. Verses should be distributed in stanzas to add more visual beauty to the piece and to make it easier to read. Regarding the message of the poem..well, fate is very unfair with people. Sometimes though, I don't believe in fate. Because I would rather believe that I am the master of my destiny. If fate is true or not, it does not matter anyway. A waste of time trying to ponder over fate when we should be surviving the struggles of life.

It would be much nicer if you separated them into stanzas because this is a really nice poem. Also, rethink your font.

This is a stream-of-consciousnees cry of purest pain - The kind that comes from without and from within. "woecry." What an amazing word. This poem yanks the reader by the hand into that moment. Rare and haunting.
