Final Heartbeat

Final Heartbeat

A Poem by Jeynab
"

just a basic poem I did when I had a writer's block.

"
Looking up to the sky,
Searching for answers in the stars,
To the hows, whats and whys,
And the ultimate question of who we are.

We eat and sleep,
We pray and breathe,
Some others weep,
But only a margin live.

Weary eyes and tired mind,
Tear-stained cheeks, quivering lips,
Memories of the past played back on rewind,
The loneliness nips.

A bottle of pills,
A slice of a blade,
It painfully kills,
But choices were made.

Final heartbeat,
Blood dripping,
With Death they meet,
This is their ending.
