Mt Restless Mind

just dumb thoughts, I write what comes to my mind at the moment, no editing or rewrites, seems like a cool concept. Try it write for 10 min to see what comes to your mind and just publish it.

I sit here in my bedroom with the urge to write but I have nothing to write about. I have no inspiration at the moment for a poem that could make you feel any emotion. 

But I sit here in my cold bedroom listening to the music that flows in my ears writing what ever comes to mind because not all writing need to have a meaning. Sometimes you do things because they simply give you pleasure to do so.

 I have journals I could write in thought, I only really use those for my most intimate thoughts that I share with no one. A secret only for me.

It's more personal that way, opposed to writing on the laptop that sits here in my lap. While I lay here in my bed surrounded only by the warmth of the quilt. But I decided to write hoping that something will come to mind. Anything really, I could write and edit other stories that I have written on paper but that would require more thinking. This would be the most personal thing I publish if I decide to do so. Its kind of weird really. I see this as an exercise to be more open and that maybe it will help me as a writer. I hope to compile all my writings into a short story book one day and maybe this piece of writing will be the first one you read in my book to get a good idea of who I am or just my thoughts in general. Who knows? but it seems like a cool idea.  what do you think? Would you think a book is boring if you were to read an entry like this from that author? 

I often listen to music as I write as most of my work is inspired I think by music I hear or movies I have seen or emotions that feel so overwhelming that its so much easier to write about rather than to deal with, Is that what it means to be an artist?
