Sorrow turns to strength and joy in love's understanding.

I couldn't help but notice
how each day passes by
slower than the last one
don't really quite know why
but further as it goes
its slower than who knows
a light year maybe more
when you, my sweet Amore
are gone and far away
it's like a year inside a day

when the light of dawn appears
it feels like its been years
only its been weeks
and an ocean of my tears
the comfort my heart seeks
elusive, wrought with fears.

But there is hope alive
it comes to me in dreams
at night my love is living
in the land of wishful things
though day time passes slowly
night is as instant as a blink
when morning sun awakes me
it makes me have to think
of missing you anew again
so that my heart will sink
at each bright passing sun
like a dawn of painful brink-
reality's dark love affair
with hope betrayed-the fink!
I find myself near drowning
in a well of bitter drink.

coursing through my veins
Love became my power
that nothing ever tames
stronger than a mountain
with faith-like surety
