I saw you clearly for the very first time

With my eyes closed tight - your lips pressed-in mine-

Inside of that kiss I learned more than lust

Desire can’t touch what I feel is a must-

have fate….

Felt right at home inside your embrace

Cozy and perfect, shall we call it a date?

Heck, more than that, let’s call it forever

I’ll give you the world, I’ll give you whatever

Morning to night I contemplate ways

To tickle your fancy so tempting to taste

Wanting to bless your heart til content

Hoping to show how much you have meant

to my life

Fearing I’ve missed the chance to enlighten

You with the truth - not knowing I brighten

Every time you walk into a room

With me standing there, alert and in tune

Wanting to tell you, My Love, how I care

Its far more, Honey, than just an affair
