Confused Love

Confused Love

A Poem by Batly
"

Its about the confusion that the writer undergoes thinking if this was love or was it infatuation that happened in the relation

"

Love is a feeling, a feeling that one must experience in their life,

It’s that feeling when the person you have fallen for, you start fascinating as your wife.

When I closed my eyes, I saw your face shine bright and sparkle with glow,

And who knew before it was too late, I just went with the love flow.

When I thought of a life with you, Trust me paradise is what I saw,

To marry you was a hard deal, but I was ready to even take on the law.

But in every love story there exist people who act as villain’s and in ours there were too many,

But then we fought them all and our life was going on picture perfect,

Picture perfect only existed in movies is what I found that day,

As our issues cropped up and 'I hurt you worse than your Ex', is what you started to say.

That was the downfall, which never stopped even though we tried,

In the end, each night both of us cried.

If love was unconditional why did all this take place?

Actually I wonder if this was even love, or was our separation due to god’s grace.

I always will wonder was it love for infatuations or just a crush that lasted a year,

To be with someone else now I would always fear.

But my love for you has never or will never die down,

And when I hear your name, a smile on my face would take down my frown.

You were close at once, but distance took us apart,

And then, you just went onto a new journey again from the start.
