Back to When We Met

A day comes when the heart finally opens up,

The day comes when life finally takes a turn.

From 'I' to 'We', from single ready to mingle to committed,

Is that what life has to offer and show,

But then my heart is what tells me should I go with the flow. 

It's a big moment in life when you take such a decision,

It's a time when I would have a permanent partner in crime,

A partner who would mostly stay and support me throughout,

Its a point in life when things change and decisions become easier,

Should I say a yes and make her feel special and make her mine.

Or should I keep on the other side of our friendship line.

It's a feeling that may never come, or be felt again,

It's to do with love and happiness, and that's a hard decision to take,

But it all comes down to the point wherein I have the choice between yes and no,

I may sound confused or lost or I may appear to be in a mess,

But my decision is something which would be a secret till the very end,

As it's the best I can do my friend.
