Pencil Shavings

Pencil Shavings

A Poem by Andrew C

Chiseled pencil shavings

Blow across the room

Reminding me of the point that broke

Reminding me of the words that were unheard.

Dancing around me

Singing melodies of my failures

They hold hands with the wind

Consuming themselves with laughter

As I’m puzzled to what has occurred

Pencil shavings

The Beginning

And

The End
