Alone In the Cold

Alone In the Cold

I sit in the cold
Alone with my self, and my thoughts
No hand to hold
Redemption I once sought
Long ago, war waged
No one was injured, save for I
Inside my heart and soul raged
Until in the end, I did die
A man, empty, simply a husk
Walking around with a great void
Fear of the day, solace with the fall of dusk
Calculated and cold, like a lifeless android
The gifts once given
By the masters above and below
He begs for them to be ridden
A life of sin and debauchery, what does he have to show
He screams sometimes
He begs for release
He breaks down, he loses all his minds
The contract signed, an eternal lease
Upon the second plane
He is destined to walk
His heart waxes, it wanes
In the end he is all talk
He will bow before his lords
He will be shown no mercy
They will deliver swift words
And punish him for his heresy
This man has broke
His will has been lost
His life seems a cruel joke
As he eternally struggles, to melt his heart of frost
