Time, Life, Its All Relative

Time, Life, Its All Relative

Tick tock
Listen to the sound of the gears whirring
Of that lonely old clock
Mind is stirring
Ages gone by
To far, to late
Gave up before you ever really did try
This world you’ve grown to hate
But just wait
Is this the world you helped to create?
Think before you act
Haste is a curse
That’s a fact
Let it consume you, for better or worse
Nevertheless you always become something other than your maker wanted for you at birth
Dreams of happiness
Hopes of a hidden self worth
Try not to digress
If you falter, you fail
If you stay true
You still suffer, you still have cause to wail
This will cause your heart to rue
Sadness
Misery
Madness
Some of us can see
The truth in life
Pain is our price
We must have an overburdened strife
If we want to rejoice
