Voice UnansweredA Poem by JetMardium8/14/2016
At night I lie awake
Good thoughts I try to fake This life I contemplate This world I’ve grown to hate I wonder what’s the most to fear The voices in my head The madness in my nightmares The monsters in my closet, and under my bed Then I think, who really cares Steel tastes hemoglobin As silver meets crimson Deeper the blade digs in My world dims, finally someone will have to listen © 2016 JetMardium |
