Wish You Hadn't

Wish You Hadn't

A Poem by Jess

Again with the lies

I am breaking my ties

I want to give up

But I won’t

I’m not going to let you win

No, not even again

With every lie I grow stronger

When I am done you will wonder

Why I wasn’t your pursuit

I am going to make you crazy

Your vision will get hazy

You’re going to suffer

As I get tougher

I am the one that got away

Because you didn’t want to stay

I’m not going to let you win

No, not even again

With every lie I grow stronger

When I am done you will wonder

Why I wasn’t your pursuit

Too bad for you

I am finally through

In this chaos

It was truly your loss

I’m not going to let you win

No, not even again

With every lie I grow stronger

When I am done you will wonder

Why I wasn’t your pursuit
