That Sound is MeA Poem by Jessica GillitzerJust expressing what I can't say
My lips are bound and my thoughts masked by venomous words
I'll say more in between the words spoken then I do in my eyes I speak for me when I say what I see is a lie I'm screaming to be heard but the truth is I refuse to be seen Ghost dreams sung under any ocean, in any moment A swell of me, it will pass only to come again Don't deny me when I cry by your hands Try not to deny these eyes The ones you can't see from so far, even though you're right in front of me I'm making it easy on you or maybe making it easy on me Your thoughts say you want to hear me, but you refuse to listen To busy seeing a star, using YOUR voice and wishing There's a new tone now One for every bone I creep behind and vessel I flow through The sound is low, it's my voice It sustains you even though you don't let me speak How do you intend to live on the music my voice could make... if you cease to let the tongue of my heart move
