Bath TimeA Poem by Jessica GillitzerMy time.Bath Time Drop my sunflower dress in a crumple floral mess I need relief, need to wash away my griefs Slide out of my restrictions and and in to nude contradictions Warm water and steam making the bathroom so much
hotter I find my home in this blissful foam Water and bubbles to melt away my troubles Candles light this quiet moment in my night I’m here to forget my worries Head filled with stories Wonderful words, and choosing not to have
feathers Here in this water I’d rather be tethered So I dream of faraway places and first time
faces I linger here, sleep near But I am not within these tiles No I’m long gone Possibly thousands of miles Bath time brings me smiles… © 2016 Jessica GillitzerAuthor's Note
