Won't win me over like a love like this You and Me You know we could be shining If you could see me Transparent No but you don't see anything I don't need a parent All of my promises, Just All of my love, Rare Going out of my mind Couldn't you just care Could you look past the dark side Embrace me I'm just fine The light and the lack of Is all in me, sent from above This is me You say I'm crazy Do you know about love And I may not be Nietzsche But God, damn I'm getting so close Why do I feel so enclosed Coal Black as when the moon wanes All of my promises Cold Not like ice, nothing I say to melt What is it to be insane You didn't get it the first time Will you hear me out Will you take me in Do you love me Do you love the idea Am I worth it? Could you look past the dark side Embrace me I'm just fine The light and the lack of Is all in me, sent from above This is me You say I'm crazy Do you know about love And I may not be Nietzsche But God, damn I'm getting so close Why do I feel so enclosed If this is who I really am Will you love me if you can? © 2013 JessikaEndsleyAuthor's Note
