Shame Blame GameA Poem by Jessi LeighOn verbal and a touch of physical abuse
You only see anger and blame
Put her in a light of shame Her anger pathetic Impossible empathetic She runs she escapes To breathe to get some space Your Guilt shame and blame She's silly stupid. You're the one that's sane Behind closed doors when you're asleep - Her body sighs, her soul silently weeps. Give in give up Tell him to shut the f**k up Your anger becomes her motivation She climbs in your bed once more thinking it's the last occasion. Next time he'll learn he won't let me burn He's good inside It's all part of the rollercoaster ride © 2011 Jessi LeighReviews
