Missing You

Imagine getting a letter from a friend that is far away... I got one from an airman stationed in Alaska and this is it made me feel.

The letter came today

Your letter came today

The one you sent because you are so far away

 

            You are so far away

 

The chills came today

The chills you used to give me came today

 

            The chills came with your letter

 

The wind came today

The wind came today it felt like your breathe

 

            It sounded like you breathing close to me

 

The bleeding came today

The bleeding came today as I opened your letter

 

            From opening your letter

 

Smiles and tears came today

As I read your words

 

            I miss you too
