Breaking Necks

Breaking Necks

A Poem by revolution9
"

Pretty girls turn heads me and my girls break necks

"

Playing the game never really gets you too far

Ready to let go of everything that you hold near your heart is never a good idea

Eerie feelings take a hold of you without that special touch

The nights are long

The hours go by like days

You realize that nothing will ever be the same

Goosebumps find their way to your skin whenever you think about

      your loneliness

Is it worth it?

Rushing to believe that after awhile these feelings will pass

Lying to yourself that everything will be the same after some time

Sleep becomes a hidden treasure that is impossible to find

Trouble follows her, they said

Useless advice to you at first, but then you started to doubt her

Revelations later revealed they were wrong

Never would you admit that she was pure … doubt is an unkind

       friend

Her feelings were crushed

Easy at first, but now you can hardly bear it

And you wake up every night in a cold sweat

Deal with your mistake

She isn’t stupid so she isn’t coming back

Memories you have of her will become nightmares

Envelops of longing will blanket your bed

And she will laugh

Now more then ever that you gave up something so great

Death wouldn’t be a worse fate

Maps can’t lead you back to her

You lost your chance when you doubted her

Genuineness is her best quality, yet you didn’t see her value

Intelligence makes her realize you were never worth it

Real women are strong and embrace life

Life is more than just living

She realizes this and she keeps her hope alive for someone better

Beware the smart ones, your friends say

Ready or not, it’s impossible not to be drawn to them

Evil are the ways of man when they don’t see a woman’s worth

And her friends, her girls, know she will find someone worth it

Know that they will all find someone who knows a woman’s worth

Now beware because if you doubt heartbreak is inevitable

Even if you’re a perfect gentlemen

Caring is much appreciated, but be a MAN

Keeping her is about loving her

So much you would die without her
