Plateau of Meeting

A pondering of refelction

I stood.
Gazing upon vertical, granite slabs
Towering above my head.

 

Inspired.
Lost in the wonder of magnificence
I was drown in meditation.

 

In a trace.
Easy not to notice the life beside me
The soul of my being caressed by parallel energy.

 

Perception.
My eyes rest on strength and beauty
Undisturbed by my presence, held in peace in wisdom.

 

Noble.
A conquorer of the woods, a hunter in pure form
Draped in prestige, enhanced by wisdom.

 

Moments.
We sat in our space fulfilling our purposes
Respectfully, we allowed the other to depart.

 

Shared.
A common courteousy, a warmth for nature
A search for answers, a need for peace.

 

Awake.
A suprise as I slept, enlightnment graced me
The wolf and I were the same soul.

 

Connected.
The true reflection of my character crossed paths
I lay awake in realization of my ancient depth.

 

Centuries.
An old existence encasing a young, vibrant heart
Striving to protect, provide and preserve.

 

The Moral.
When I am at peace with myself
My expectations no longer can be betrayed by others.
