Chapter 3- Reveal

Chapter 3- Reveal

A Chapter by Jessi Raine is falling

When I wake up its dark, and I had this very bad feeling that someone is watching us. Everyone else is sleeping so I grab my bow and peek out the bottom of our little rock hide out, there are four of those freaks, I can barley see their eyes but they are out there. I freeze not really knowing what to do, I nudge Taylor until he waves my foot away. “There are four outsiders on the other side of the water hole,” I say in Taylor’s ear, he shoots up to look out. “DAMN, this isn’t good” he says, I give him my no-way-captain-obvious look and start to wake everyone else. We gather our not unpacked things and get ready to jump them when they leave! They just disappeared, “They’re gone” Taylor whispers, “ I don’t think so” I say then there is this bright flash and I see one. Its all by itself out there, “there’s one, I can see it but its just laying down on the other side” I say we set there and wait. We wait a few hours and when it doesn’t move for that long we decide to check it out. Taylor and I swiftly walk over to see it’s sleeping, “I say we grab it and use it as a hostage” Taylor says grabbing a rope out of his bag. I don’t argue so we bind its legs, which is funny because it doesn’t even flinch, well until we put a bag on its head. “Ok sorry to be paranoid but why do you have all this kidnapping stuff” I say wearily. “Well you never know” Taylor says with a shrug of the shoulders, it starts to really move and kick so we do our best to drag it along. We start walking again and after about a mile and a half I’m dead, “want me to use my powers now” Lilly smarts off, I wanted to retaliate but just tell her yeah. It struggles in the air, which seems to give Lilly a hard time but she keeps it up. We are making great time until we happen to run across an outsider base, wee all freeze. This base was huge, like a castle; there are guards all over so we have to go the long way around. I begin to wonder if this is the big base, if so if we blew it up would all our problems be solved. We have to walk slowly because our stupid hostage keeps squirming, I finally get so fed up I incase its body in rock (Saw a guy down the street do it). It takes an average of 2 hours just to get around the stupid thing, and daybreak is upon us, which means it will be a lot harder to hide. We find a place to rest for a while and decide we want to see this alien. “Ok Taylor, you undo his head and I ill keep my bow on it” I say, he rips of the bag over his head to reveal…
