Chapter Fourteen~Stay with me

I felt bad, I had given him my number but when he called I told him I was sick so I wouldn’t make it after school. He sounded sad, but how could I tell him what happened, and that it was my fault. I sulked in my room doing my algebra, “Why don’t you call him?” Mom asked in the door way. “Because I can’t. I have homework, see?” I say showing her my algebra book. “Excuse denied.” she says taking my book, “I'll get someone to do your homework today.” she says, she didn’t even give me a choice, she closed the door and was already gone. I pick up the phone and hesitate, but dial anyway.
Matt: Hello?
Aurora: Hey, its Aurora.
Matt: Oh hello, I’m so glad you called.
Aurora: Oh really?
Matt: Yeah, I get to go to school tomorrow.
Aurora: Oh. I’m so sorry.
Matt: Ha yeah, so you want to go for a walk?
Aurora: Oh, I don’t know, I still don’t feel good.
Matt: What if I said I would buy dinner?
Aurora: Hmmm, okay I guess I can stomach a walk then
Matt: Cool, um you have to come get me though, I don’t think it would be good for me to drive...
Aurora: Haha, okay I’ll be there soon.

I grab mom’s keys and head out for his house, 20 minutes later I’m waiting to pick my Prince Charming up. “Hey!” he yells from the house, I smile I just hope he doesn’t want to know. “Alright, lake, park, or woods?” I say, he looks at me funny “Oh, I didn’t know that’s what a walk meant.” he says blushing. “Oh no! No, I just meant where do you want to take a walk at. No Matt. NO!” “Calm down, I was just kidding.” he says laughing; I still didn’t think it was that funny.

We decided to go to the lake; it might bring back some memories. “So..” he said, I tensed up, expecting the question. “You’re my girlfriend correct?” he says a little uncertain. “Yeah, what you see is what you get.” I say, “Okay, good, I thought that snooty, ugly girl was.” it makes me smile, the fact that he lost his memory and still doesn’t like McKenna.

Our walk last for hours, we finally go eat at Picadilly Square, I love it there. We pay and head for his house. When I stop outside his house, its dark. “Where is everyone?” I ask, “Mom is staying with Dad and Cari at the hotel, so it's just me.” he says, he looks at me with his beautiful eyes and whispers “Will you stay with me?”. The look in his eyes disable me from saying no. I text Mom, she says it's fine, and we hold each other the whole night. We never let go.
