Insensibility

Insensibility

A Poem by JayDee
"

We treat those who do wrong better than we treat those who do right Our ways are cruel and yet we don't give a damn

"

An broken thought

A man who claims to know God

He believes? Apparently

He knows the truth of God.  Maybe not

Actions are meticulous

Strange

Malicious

One move and you are done for

I thought I didn’t know enough to understand what happened

What I do know is that my entire thought process was wrong

I don't remember hearing your excuse nor an apology

I just remember that there were none

What I do remember after a second blow from your wrong, what it felt like to lose sensory in all being

You were never man enough and may not be for a very long time

Sad really…

A memory of an oblivious being
I could see her watching you out of the corner of her eye, but still avoiding eye contact

Avoiding any chance of it being a fault under her household

Funny… one of them are yours as well. Did you forget?

You don’t think it’s good enough, did you not know the words to care? or were my memories just that pointless?

Maybe I should let it go

For the sake of your false dignity

Those underlying flaws

And never known humility
