Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by JayDee

A lost Faith that can still be found
Thought to be buried
Deep down beneath the ground
Under the lies and the ugly truths
A faded stain of only good
An unknown soul trapped in plain sight
For darkness can be defeat by only light.
Scatter the words of the distant truth
To find love's true meaning beneath the roots
Anger, torture
Sadness and pain
Still holding onto
Your past full of strain
Forget not
The good at its peak
For it may be
The very answer you seek.
Believe in yourself of who are
A masterpiece of a dream not far.
