TightRope

TightRope

A Poem by JayDee
"

Be the person that is true to yourself because that is where your true happiness begins

"

I see the pain in his eyes

That spreads from his heart,

The fake smile disguise

That tears him apart.

The emotions he endures

That can not be explained.

His feelings he obscures

Because he keeps everything contained

He tries to help others

While enduring this pain,

Still thinking of another's

Unknown strain

I have seen the real smile

That from is heart shines,

The depression in exile,

That in his world confines.

Trying to bring back

The he I first met,

To take away the panic attack

That became the minor threat.

Days will get better,

Or so I really hope...

Time, Our pacesetter,

That will relieve the tightrope.
