Shattered Sight

Shattered Sight

A Poem by JayDee

Everywhere a memory

Everywhere a feeling.

Everywhere a thought of her

that has more than one meaning.

Doubt, Pain

Happiness and sorrow

Another day without her...

my painful tomorrow

Pretty eyes

and a fake smile,

Hiding the pain

of everything worth while.

Tears of memories

and feelings well spent

Shattering my sight,

because of everything we ment.

That stabbing pain

from top to bottom.

Trying to remember

the reasons forgotten.

Waiting on time

For things to get better,

Until the days we ask

"Do you remember?''

Don't worry,

Everything will be okay

From now on,

and every other day

Just never forget

The way I loved you so,

That it was more than enough

For me to let you go
