It's Worth The WhileA Poem by Jesse Chabukiani
What is this galaxy made of?
It's as high and full of life like a dove But where is the love I see nothing in this foggy climate I then reach out right through it For the beautiful melody, the scenery Those pleasant lovely blueberries I picked Although this galaxy is so strict The people around us strive to be perfect Perfect, why must you be so eager? Looking through that transparent mirror When all the beauty around us is right here It won't dissappear, if only you tried to hear The sound of the waterfall and the drops Try to see the effective cycle of crops Look at those loveable babies, how they smile Although it's dark down here it's worth the while © 2017 Jesse Chabukiani |
