When You're Gone AwayA Poem by Jesse Chabukiani
When you're gone away
The sky turns grey The flowers fade And what's left is a shade I have no physical touch I gave you so much When I hear your laugh I realize you're my other half You complete me And there's more to what you see Because I'm trembling at the thought How we got each other's hearts tied in a knot I'm not daring to leave you, my love Until I see you again I'll be looking above. © 2017 Jesse ChabukianiAuthor's Note
