Life is a Mystery

Life is but a mystery

A place to fill our head

With all the classic wonder

Of all that's alive and dead

The stars cease not to enchant us

For we know there is more to life

Than everything we hear and see

There is more than just pain and strife

Why then do we give up

On the possibilities at hand

There is more to be discovered

But mystery from our mind we band

Do you ever want to just unleash

Those questionable thoughts inside

Or tell the world and all whom you meet

Those little patches of knowledge you find

It seems we cast our fears into the river

Our doubts we too daily shed

But then we drink the crystal water

And again it fills our head

Because life was meant to be questioned

To help our journey lead to growth

But sometimes when we think too much

We allow ourselves to choke

So when you start to wonder

Remember life is short

Press on to find the answers

But truth you then must sort
